Making and nurturing disciples for Jesus is the focus of the adult education offerings at CCPC. In addition to Sunday School and Bible Study groups, there is a wide variety of Christ-centered study groups for all adult men and women.

New Class for Summer Adult Sunday School:
“Songs of Strength, Songs of Solace”

Ten-Week Study beginning Sunday, June 15 in Tennent Hall
An interactive, engaging study of the Scriptures on which African American Spirituals are based. In this study, we will:

• listen to the songs
• study the Biblical passages
• and ponder the social and historical context of this truly American art form.

Songs will include some CCPC favorites, such as Rock a My Soul; Come Out de Wilderness; Plenty Good Room; Balm in Gilead; Go Down Moses; Lord, I Want to Be a Christian; Joshua Fit de Battle of Jericho; just to name a few.

Everyone’s invited! The class will have shared leadership which will include our Associate Pastors Stacy Ikard and Jeremy Wilhelmi.

	Next Generation in Room M110, led by Glenn Miller. Active young adults joined together in study, fellowship & service; currently studying the book of James.
	Right Relationships in Room M312, led by Robert Hall ~ Study and discussion on Vision: God’s Call to the Surprised and Uncomfortable.
	Shepherd’s Crook in Room M313, led by Susan Cuellar and Pam Krause — Book Study on “Disconnected—Parenting Teenagers in a My Space World.”
