The child care ministry at
CCPC is richly blessed with experienced, knowledgeable and nurturing
care givers. Many of these care givers have over 10 years of experience
in our nursery and all are CPR/First Aid certified. We know it is
reassuring for you and your little ones to see the same familiar
loving face each time you participate in an activity at the church.
If you have any questions at all, please contact me at 972-238-8103
ext. 330. You may leave a message at any time day or night, or use
the email address below.

INFANTS,
NEW WALKERS, AND TODDLERS
Child care for infants, new
walkers and toddlers is available at no charge during all three
Sunday morning Services of Worship. Reservations are not necessary
on Sunday mornings. Child care is also available for most church-related
functions with a 48-hour notice - check your weekly worship bulletin
or the website for detailed information. On Sunday mornings infants
are cared for in Room E105, new walkers in Room E103, and toddlers
in Room E100. When using child care at times other than on Sunday
morning, please bring your children, regardless of their ages, to
Room E100.
MOTHER'S DAY OUT
Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church provides a Christian environment where every child is shown the love of God by experiencing hands-on activities that enhance self-esteem, independence and
creativity. We use a variety of materials to learn about God and explore God’s world.
Programs for Tuesday/Thursday; Wednesday; or
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
9:30 am - 2:30 pm RESERVATIONS
Child care reservations are
required for church activities during times other than worship.
You may make your reservations either through the church receptionist
or our on-line Child Care Reservation
page. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled
event for most events although some special events may require reservations
to be made a week in advance. If your plans change, please
remember to cancel your reservation.
HEALTHCARE
We strive for the healthiest
and most sanitary environment for your children in our care. Disinfecting
toys, using plastic gloves for each diaper change, and sterilizing
changing pads after each use are just a few of the practices we
use to assure your child has a safe and clean environment. For the
protection of your child and other children, parents are requested
not to leave a child in our care who appears ill (fever within the
last 24 hours, green runny nose, coughing, etc.) If a child contacts
a childhood disease, and has been in our care within the last week,
please notify the Child Care Coordinator, Teri Budde, either through
the Church Office at (972) 238-8103 extension 330 or at teri@canyoncreekpres.org
SAFETY
AND SECURITY
Your child's safety is our number
one priority. We use pagers and other methods of assuring that you
are in touch with our care givers. You will be asked to sign your
child in and out of child care. No one else will be allowed to pick
up your child unless we have your permission in writing.
VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES
Do you like to read stories to toddlers?
Do you like to hold children in your lap and sing "Jesus Loves
Me!"? Then you may be interested in helping out once or twice
a month to share Gods love with our little ones. CCPC is blessed
with an abundance of small children and we welcome loving persons
who will help nurture these little ones in the faith through simple
stories and songs. Contact the Child Care Coordinator at teri@canyoncreekpres.orgif you are interested in being part of our caring team. Volunteers
will be placed on the approved list once they have met the Child
Safety Policy requirements.
Anyone wishing to support our ministry
of complimentary child care may make donations to the child care
fund at any time.
