The council is composed of interested students from Grades 1-12 and is led by an adult volunteer with parent helpers.
Contact Kristin Eichenberger to volunteer (keichenberger@canyoncreekpres.org). The students meet several times during the year and determine where the CE offering is to be invested in mission. Past recipients include Kosovo refugees, Church of Mercy in Cambodia, Interfaith Housing Coalition in Dallas, Presbyterian Children’s Home in Duncanville, famine relief in the Sudan, Family Outreach of Richardson/Plano, Washington Street Mission and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
