The mission of CCPC is
"To Know Christ and To Make Christ Known". Learning
opportunities to help fulfill the mission abound for people of
all ages from the youngest of children to older adults. Our Sunday
School program for children and weekday John Knox School lay the
foundation for a lifelong commitment to learning and growing in
faith.
Our education program for
adults is comprehensive with opportunities for study in areas
ranging from Bible study, contemporary issues, parenting, small
group fellowship and church membership.
The Youth Ministry at CCPC
is dynamic and growing! In August 2005 we inaugurated our new Middle School Ministry known as Live Wires and an exciting new choir just for them called Exaltation! We continually expand with in-depth Bible
studies, Sunday evening programs, a Youth Mentor program for Confirmands,
retreats, and the Senior High Mission Trip just to mention
a few. Come join in the celebration and excitement!
Childrens Ministries
provides opportunities for children from infancy through grade
five. Christian faith grows best within the context of a dynamic
Christian community that includes worship, education, nurture
and mission. We acknowledge that parents are the primary Christian
educators for their children and we want to work with parents
to nurture their childrens faith. Our focus
is "Connecting Kids to Christ!". We recommend, as a
starting point, Worship + 2.
Worship as a family with your elementary school children and then
involve them in two other activities: one to grow in their faith
and one to help someone else. The two activities could be Sunday Morning JAM and Choir.
You will find lots of possibilities as you browse our web site.
