A REAL Classic!

Most of you have heard, this year's children's choir musical will be, It's Cool in the Furnace. Written by Buryl Red and Grace Hawthorne and first presented in 1973, this timeless musical has been enjoyed by at least three generations of youth and children.  In 2007, the musical was re-released in celebration of 35 years of cool. Like all true classics, this story of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego is as cool  today as it was in 1973.

As the children began learning the story and preparing the fun music--they were surprised to find out that many of their parents had ALSO experienced the same musical as a child or youth! Mrs. Ray and the children are now wondering--"How many other CCPCer's remember performing this cool musical, It's Cool in the Furnace?"

You can help us find out...just email Marsha Ray at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
