Since 1986, The Network has been providing services and support to people in need who live within the Richardson Independent School District boundaries and the zip codes in which they are found. Services provided include food, counseling, bus passes and more. The Seniors Net provides services to senior citizens who need help maintaining their property; The Adolescent and Children’s Clinic is open two evenings a week to meet the needs of sick students in RISD whose parents have no insurance and cannot miss work.
Canyon Creek has been supporting The Network since its beginning with on-site volunteers (interviewers, food room workers, etc.), financially, a summer school supply drive, and through regular food donations, the first Sunday of each month. Our members in the medical community volunteer their time at the Children’s and Adolescent Clinic.
There is a white box near the breezeway downstairs where food and personal care items ( toothpaste, deodorant, laundry soap, toilet tissue, etc.) may be dropped off anytime.
