Singles III Ministry

The Singles III group consists of individuals who are 55 and older. We sponsor two special opportunities for our members to socialize. On Sundays we have a published schedule of dining spots that are an easy driving distance from the church. We also plan a monthly activity including such things as a visit to the Dallas Arboretum, a potluck dinner, an evening of Bunko, a train trip to Fort Worth to visit a museum, a Derby Party in May, and others.

Current planned events include the following:

• Saturday, June 12th –Frisco Roughrider's games
• Saturday, July 17th - Bunco Party
• Saturday, August 28th – Potluck Dinner
• October - trip to Ft. Worth Stockyards via DART and Trinity Railway Express
• Saturday, November 13th – Richardson Women's Club Home Tour, Luncheon and Bazaar
• Saturday, December 11th - Christmas Dinner at the Hyatt Hotel, Richardson
• Friday, December 31st - New Year's Eve Party

Even though we are primarily a social group, we do a couple of other things as a group. We clean up after communion periodically. Also, our group usually takes on a special project such as adopting a family in need at Christmas time.
