Live Wires is a new and exciting ministry at CCPC for 6th thru 8th graders. The church recognizes that middle schoolers can benefit from having a unique ministry tailored to their needs and is extremely enthusiastic about the new endeavor. Our goal is to provide these "live wires" the opportunity to strengthen their relationship with Christ through participation in Sunday school, Sunday night activities, Friday Night Live fellowship, mission outreach and more.

As you can see, we have many awesome activities for your child this summer! Please join us for any or all of these events!! The idea is to have several opportunities for the students throughout the summer while still cherishing the family time. The three ALL Youth events require reservations and payment in advance. Hawaiian Falls: A reservation form for Hawaiian Falls is included and must be in by June 15 with payment.
The church will provide water and snacks during the day and you are welcome to bring your own
lunch if you choose not to buy lunch from Hawaiian Falls. WHAT IS SOS? Glad you asked!! It’s an opportunity for our middle school students to not only work with the younger children coming to VBS but to also do fun things together as a group. This year we plan to involve our middle school children much more in the classroom working with the young children. On Wednesday, we will enjoy rock climbing at Exposure in Carrollton at a cost of approximately $20 which will include lunch at the church and a snack at Exposure. We will participate in the Interfaith Housing pool party on Thursday, June 14. We will eat lunch at the church before departing to Greenwood Hills Pool in Richardson. Cost will be minimal for lunch and pool. Parent volunteers will be needed for any portion of the week!!! We will accept any time you can give us this week - volunteering during the day, driving kids to our two outings, and any other general help you can give. Please email or call me if you can spare some time during the week to make this program happen! Registration forms have been mailed. Summer Bible Study - John Harling will continue the middle school Bible study on Mondays beginning June 18 and continuing through July 30, minus July 9. Please encourage your child to be a part of this study that digs deeper into the scriptures while allowing kids to form new friendships.
