Every few months, CCPC’s Membership Committee and Associate Pastor Dr. Stacy L. Ikard hold a “Discovery Day” at Springhill Retreat Center for our guests and newer members. This is a relaxed five-hour event of discussion, learning and fellowship in a park-like setting next door to our church
facility. The day is free, with child care and lunch provided.

During the Discovery Day, the following issues are all explored:

• What it means to be a Presbyterian
• The Principles of Reformed Theology
• The history of CCPC
• How to become a more committed Disciple of Jesus Christ — as well as
• The meaning of church membership

Future Discovery Days in 2008 are Saturdays, June 7, August 30, and October 25.
