Today at Canyon Creek we follow the significant role music has played in the Old and New Testament. The Music Ministry offers a chance for you to let music be a part of your gift to God. Whether young or old, there is a place for you. We invite you to take advantage of a dynamic, fully-graded music program that offers opportunities for spiritual, personal, and musical growth. Join any of these choirs and be a part of the CCPC Music Ministry, as we seek to be instruments of God’s Word.

Sanctuary Choir

Felix Mendelssohn
From St. Paul
Postlude
This non-auditioned chorus provides music and worship leadership at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning services as well as several great evening concerts, often major choral/orchestral works, throughout the year. A retreat is held in late summer or early Fall to prepare for either the Fall Spirituals Concert or the Christmas program. The Sanctuary Choir desires your participation regardless of your experience…your willing commitment is all that is required. Child care provided for Wednesday rehearsals.
ADULT HANDBELL ENSEMBLE
The Adult Handbell Ensemble provides individuals the opportunity to ring in a 4+ octave choir. This group performs in services of worship approximately once a month and participates in festivals and concerts throughout the year.
ADULT INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE
Rehearsals vary
From flute quartet and flute choir, to brass, woodwind and percussion groups, as well as stringed instruments, there are many opportunities for you to share your instrumental gifts at CCPC. These ensembles rehearse from time to time in preparation for Sunday worship or other church activities and concerts. If you play an instrument and would like to be a part of an ensemble, please call or see David Hays at the church office, 972-238-8103 or email dhays@canyoncreekpres.org.
