f you are single (divorced, widowed or never married), the Singles of CCPC would like to invite you to join them! We seek to encourage, equip, and empower single adults to the mission of "Knowing Christ and Making Christ Known" through fellowship, study, prayer and outreach opportunities. We recognize and celebrate that in our singleness, God calls us to a unique ministry; to show God’s love to one another and to the world by developing and demonstrating a strong discipleship to Christ and His teachings, while laying claim to being His warm and wonderful children. The Singles of CCPC are organized into three different groups:
SINGLES I This group is generally for those single persons who are under thirty and have never been married. The purpose of this group is to foster Christian fellowship among a community of like-minded believers who are looking for alternatives for young singles other than what the world traditionally offers. Activities for this group are based upon knowing the demands of young single people and realizing the busy schedules of young college students or young professionals. Whether you’re presently college age or a young professional, this group meets on a monthly basis for fellowship, nurturing, enrichment, and support. Social events are planned throughout the year. For more information about our SINGLES I group, please contact Jared Warren at singlesone@canyoncreekpres.org. This group is for those who are single and between the ages of 30 and 55. Activities for this group are based upon knowing the demands of single professionals and many events include coinciding activities for the children, since many in this group are single parents. Whether you’re a single parent or not, this group meets for fellowship, nurturing, enrichment, and support. This active and growing group has many exciting things planned throughout the year, including dinners, movie-nights, concerts, workshops, shopping sprees, dance lessons, cooking lessons, and a host of workshops on single-parenting, divorce recovery, and financial planning. Special events are being scheduled throughout the year and will include out-of-town field trips to the Hill Country and the Gulf Coast. Click here for this group’s specific schedule. An
extremely active and vibrant group of single persons typically
over 55, this group’s activities are varied and include social
activities, Sunday School, and several other opportunities to
get to know other adult singles on a different level! From concerts,
going out to eat, progressive dinners, taking in a movie or visiting
a local attraction, this group is always on the go! For more information
