Benefits of a Columbarium

A columbarium affords families the opportunity to make their loved one’s final resting place at the church that has been their spiritual home.

The purchase of a columbarium niche eliminates the pressures and expense of choosing a burial site, casket, vault and monument.  Also, there is no need to plan for interment and memorial services at different times and locations.

By choosing the columbarium, significant costs are limited to cremation, the niche and an obituary.

Columbarium

The John Calvin Chapel and Columbarium is a peaceful space for meditation, prayer and small group worship.  The floor incorporates a labyrinth for prayerful walks.  The front of the chapel holds three banks of columbarium niches for urns of members who have been cremated as well as space for memorial plaques of those you wish to remember or honor.

Please email the CCPC church office if you have questions about or are interested in purchasing a niche.

Find A Grave

CCPC members and family can now search for a loved one who is inurned in our Columbarium. This site gives you information such as their name, date of birth, date of death, family members, etc. Simply click on the link. Feel free to read about and view the photos for each of these wonderful people who have gone before us.

If you would like to add a photo or comment to a love one's bio please contact Ida Botto at 972-238-8103, ext. 303 in the church office.
