Reflections on Faith and Community
Dear friends,
On this page, you will find weekly reflections on life and faith. My hope is that, in some way, they will prove helpful to you in your daily living. You can also find them on the church's YouTube Channel in the "Weekly Word" playlist. May God bless you on the spiritual journey.

I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers. (Ephesians 1:16)
On Sunday, like so many other communities across the country and the world, Canyon Creek gathered together in worship and in memory of the 15th Anniversary of September 11th. As a worship leader, I get to have the perspective of looking out into the faces of so many. I see parents with children and singles and couples. I see old and young. I see them all. On this particular Sunday, I looked out and was able to take a moment and give thanks to God for these people and so many others God has placed in my life. Tragic events give us that perspective by serving as a harsh reminder of just how precious life can be and how important the people in our lives are.
Do me a favor, take some time this week to give thanks for the people God has placed in your life. Let them know how important they are. Try your very best to never take them for granted.
