Welcome to North Star!

Thank you for taking the time to visit us! Choosing a preschool for your child is an important decision and we want to help you make the best choice for your family.

Our History
Our preschool has been a mission of Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church and our home for over twenty-five years. We began as The Discovery School, and in 2008 changed the name to North Star Learning Center, to reflect our street address, and added extended care.

What We Offer
Traditional Preschool:
We offer a traditional preschool from September through May, with hours from 9:00-2:00pm.

Full-Time Program:
We also offer full time care from 7:00-9:00 am and 2:00-6:00 pm beyond the normal school day and throughout the summer.

Our Staff
We are here to guide and help you with your questions.

Debbie Webb, NSLC Director
Debbie is available to assist you with any questions you may have.

Robyn Shearin, Assistant Director
Robyn is eager to help you with admission procedures and other general information.

Should you decide you would like to join our North Star family, please return the admission papers and a $225 registration fee (non-refundable) to Robyn at the front desk. After the paperwork has been processed, you will receive confirmation of placement.  The 2017-2018 school year begins the day after Labor Day, Tuesday, September 5th.

Thank you again for visiting North Star. We would count it a blessing to serve your family!
