At Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church, we are building relationships wherever we go! For kids this means experiencing God through classes, activities, events, and most of all through the friendships they build week by week in our program. New to Children’s Ministry?
Children’s Music: Sundays from 9:30am – 10:10am
Children’s Music Ministry is a community that teaches kids about the sacred nature of music in praise and worship. Our program is designed to help children learn how to read music and participate in choir. Our team of dedicated professionals provides an engaging and interactive learning environment where children can grow in their faith while learning about music and worship.
Sunday School: Sundays from 10:10am – 10:50am
Sunday School is a tactile, hands-on journey through Scripture, where children explore God’s Word through art, cooking, games, and science. We believe that when learning is in their hands, it is in their hearts—turning scripture into meaningful experiences. Our program goes beyond traditional children’s music and worship experience; we are a community that nurtures faith, creativity, and curiosity.
Sacred Play: offered during the Sunday morning 11:00am service
Sacred Play engages children’s imagination, creativity, and exploration as a meaningful part of faith formation. Sacred play is purposeful: it creates a space where children can explore spiritual truths through hands-on activities, movement, and storytelling. By blending curiosity with reflection, sacred play helps nurture a deeper relationship with God, allowing faith to be experienced in a way that is both joyful and transformative.
Kids Who Serve
Kids Who Service is a program passionate about instilling in our children the values of kindness, care, and compassion for others. We believe in demonstrating this through a lifestyle of service. We exist to lean into the Matthew 25 principle, treating all individuals with equal love and respect, as if we were doing so directly for Christ. We regularly practice this through projects and partnerships every month!
