Middle School Youth Ministries
CCPC youth ministries engage students by exploring the truth about God and Jesus found in the Bible, teaching them how to express their faith, and creating an environment where they are embraced and supported. The LiveWires Youth Group for middle schoolers in 6th through 8th grades is a friendly, come-as-you-are group of students bonded by our love for Christ and our desire to share that love with others.
New to Middle School Ministry?
Welcome! We're so glad you're here - regardless of where you live, where you go to school, or where you are in your faith. We understand that each student is unique, talented, capable, and living in a world that offers conflicting and often negative views. We also know that each of you is a child of God and we are here to love you and your parents through this incredible journey! We invite you to join us as we develop amazing friendships, make some hilarious memories, and grow in your relationship with Christ.
Sunday Mornings
Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Graders--join us for a study of the Old Testament on Sunday Mornings, from 9:30-10:30am, in room 206.
Beginning in January, Eighth Graders are invited to join the Confirmation Class in room 205, where they will dig into what it means to be a Christian, a Presbyterian, and a member of Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. Friends are always welcome.
Sunday Evenings
Come and be a part of our Sunday evening fellowship, wacky games, worship, and study time as we get to know each other better, creating a fun and exciting environment to grow together in Christ Jesus.
Our LiveWires Middle School Ministry meets most Sunday evenings during the school year from 6:30-8:00pm in room 204. There is an All-Youth dinner held from 6:00-6:30pm prior to youth groups. Most dinners are served in Tennent Hall, on the first floor. For more information on when, where, and how we are meeting, contact Laura Martinez, Director of Youth Ministries.
